Diesel is the first of the west coast italian greyhounds. After my first IG passed away from hemangiosarcoma I swore I'd never have another one. Then came Diesel, and it was all over. Nicknamed The Good Dog because he's such a great guy he's charmed hundreds of people and started the current reign of the italian greyhounds at Rome Kennels. After a slow start Diesel proved to be a great courser, with stamina and follow to spare. He's enchanted many judges, and helped redefine how they think of these little 'toy' dogs on the field. Diesel now lives a life of retirement in Medford Oregon with his buddy Tod.
