Rome Dhaulagiri
Julie is the most famous of the Rome Whippets- not for her show record necessarily but for her larger than life antics. She's been responsible for some of the greatest thrills and chills of my dog career, as she topped her classes at specialties and took flying tumbles on the field. Proving her worth in both venues she also produced a wonderful litter of dual purpose companions. My most thrilling moment was watching her win Best In Field, while never fast she has always been an honest and keen courser with stamina and agility. Julie and I have travelled over 200,000 miles together, and as she accustoms herself to retirement she continues to rule the house and raise the puppies.
